All funds raised go directly to two separate organizations: Homeboy Industries and In the City.


Homeboy Industries

The largest gang-intervention program in the entire world. The organization provides jobs and free services to formerly gang-involved and previously incarcerated men and women, with over 10,000 coming through their doors each year. The organization does this through an 18-month training program.


In the City

An after-school program that provides tutoring and mentoring services to based to privileged elementary students in the neighborhood of Lincoln Heights.

Some facts about Lincoln Heights:

  • Ranks with the top 5% poorest neighborhoods in all of LA County.

  • Ranks in the top 3% of neighborhoods with the most residents with less than a high school diploma in all of LA County.

  • Only 5.5% of residents 25 and older have four-year degree.

  • Has the least number of home-owners our of all Eastside neighborhoods.

  • Only 17% of graduating Lincoln High School students are eligible for four-year institutions.
